Happy Sunday Reader!
It seems like we are talking a lot about self-care and self-kindness recently, but it is such an important topic. Especially during this time of the year when we all are being pulled in so many different directions. Self care can be the foundation that helps you hold it all together in the chaos of the holiday season.
I hope you were able to find some thankful moments over the thanksgiving weekend. Let's keep those gratitude's in mind as we move towards our next holiday of the season.
Make time this season to do some holiday themed self care like:
Your self care doesn't have to be holiday themed, here are 75 other ideas that work this time of year too!
With Christmas on it's way, I wanted to share some of the fun holiday decorations that have caught my eye on Etsy. Here are some of my favorites!

Look ahead at your calendar for the month of December and mark a couple of “Self-care” days. You can’t do self-care for the entirety of those days, but even marking them as self-care days will help you keep them from any extra scheduling of activities, and can be days you can work on the projects and holiday duties that are important to you.
It's never to late to pursue your dream! This is an amazing story about a person who taught herself a new skill during Covid Lockdown and is now making waves on the national stage with that skill! You can read her inspiring story and see what dreams you would like to pursue!
We are revisiting a past post today because I feel like it is timely for many of us coming out of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. Burnout is real, and is often caused by good things, like the holidays, family, and the busyness of year end work.
While you take a little downtime this week, take a few minutes and refresh yourself on the different stages of burnout and the signs of each stage.
One of my favorite ways to relax and enjoy the magic of the holiday season is by wrapping gifts. I love the process of reflecting on each person I am giving a gift to, and getting to show off my (limited!) creative gift wrapping skills. I was so excited to see this list of creative and unique gift wrap ideas that will help your gift stand out without having to be Martha Stewart to do so!
What is your go-to wrapping style?
